I am a early career researcher and lecturer in the UK, and I am seeking an arXiv endorsement for the cs.CR (Cryptography and Security) category.
I am currently revisiting an earlier research project on deepfake detection using deep learning. The original work explored a range of CNN-based architectures for detecting manipulated facial imagery and included evaluation using real-world deepfake samples.

The project has been inactive for some time, and I am now planning to substantially update it before publication, including the literature review, methodology and experimental evaluation. I am particularly interested in strengthening the work from a cybersecurity perspective, including the robustness and generalisability of deepfake detection beyond benchmark datasets.
As this would be my first submission to the arXiv cs.CR category, arXiv requires an endorsement from an eligible author.
