# Search API / MCP appears to ignore account personalization (blocked domains still returned) > Source: > Published: 2026-11-05 04:13:47+00:00 A domain I blocked in Personalized Results is still returned when searching through the official Kagi MCP server (kagi_search_fetch), in both the "search" and "news" workflows. Per the Search API docs, account personalization should be inherited. Passing the domain in exclude_domains does filter it out, so only the account-level settings are ignored. I suspect all personalization (raise/lower/pin) is ignored, not just blocks. Steps: All account personalization (block, lower, raise, pin) should be applied to Search API and MCP results in every workflow, as in the web UI and as documented.
