While we’ve yet to get clean renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, a new leak shows off Samsung’s official cases and, in turn, some of the stunning colors coming with these new foldables.

New images posted by * Android Headlines* show off Samsung’s official cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 “Ultra,” and Flip 8. The report itself refers to the Fold 8 strangely, referring to the “Ultra” as the new wider form factor,

[despite heaps of reporting and leaks that suggest the opposite](https://9to5google.com/2026/06/29/samsungs-confusing-galaxy-z-fold-8-ultra-name-is-basically-official-in-latest-leak-gallery/), and using the “Fold 8 Wide” branding that’s also been displaced across dozens of leaks.

Regardless of that, the images themselves tell us a fair bit.

We can see that, as Samsung continues its stubborn avoidance of actual Qi2 magnets, at least some of its official cases are ready for Qi2 with magnets for wireless charging alignment. [If the Galaxy S26 was anything to go by](https://9to5google.com/2026/02/26/samsung-galaxy-s26-magnetic-cases/), *most *of Samsung’s lineup will probably support this. There are also cases with art from Esther Kim, Joker, and Kakao Corp, but it’s unclear if these will be sold in all regions.

There’s even a new aramid fiber case with a splash of color instead of the typical one-color design.

But what’s *far* more interesting here is that the clear cases – and the camera cutouts in the other cases – show off the colors of Samsung’s new foldables, which we haven’t really seen thus far.

The colors we can see here include:

*Galaxy Z Fold 8 ‘Ultra’**(the boring one)*

- Dark purple/burgandy
- White/silver
- Black/gray

**Galaxy Z Fold 8***(the wide one)*

- Lavender
- White/silver
- Black/gray

Notably, the aramid fiber case seems to lack a front half on both Fold 8 models, but most of the cases lack a front half on the wider form factor.

**Galaxy Z Flip 8**

- Pink
- While/silver
- Black/gray

There are probably more colors, though. Prior leaks [mentioned ](https://9to5google.com/2026/06/23/galaxy-z-fold-8-colors-leak/)shades of green for each device – “Green Shadow” for Fold 8 Ultra, “Pistachio” for Fold 8, and “Mint” for Flip 8 – while blue, pink, and a warm-white [were shown in another leak](https://sammyguru.com/galaxy-z-fold-8-colors-leak-more-options/) (which we’ve edited and put below). “Pistachio” is missing, though, so take those with a grain of salt.

So far, it all lines up with what these case renders show, but there are clearly more in the pipeline.

While they’re not particularly vibrant, there are some really nice choices here. I’m particularly fond of that deep purple on the Fold 8 Ultra, and a bit annoyed it doesn’t seem to be coming to the wider form factor.

What do you think?
