Samsung outlines AI, robotics vision at Silicon Valley forum

Samsung Electronics hosted its eighth annual technology forum on Friday at Samsung Research America in Mountain View, California, where about 80 developers and Samsung executives gathered to hear the company's AI and robotics strategy. Executives including Roh Tae-moon, co-CEO and head of the Device eXperience division, outlined the "Your Companion to AI Living" vision unveiled at CES 2026, with Yoon Jang-hyun, president and CTO of the Device eXperience division, delivering a keynote on products emerging from the convergence of next-generation AI and robotics. Roh said AI is "an unstoppable force that will bring intelligent, highly personalized experiences to every aspect of daily life," and Samsung said it plans more events to strengthen exchanges with global technology talent.

About 80 developers and Samsung executives attended the eighth annual forum, held Friday at Samsung Research America in Mountain View, California. Samsung participants included Lee Won-jin, president of the Visual Display Business; Yoon Jang-hyun, president and chief technology officer of the Device eXperience division; and Choi Won-joon, president and chief operating officer of the Mobile eXperience Business. The event centered on Samsung’s “Your Companion to AI Living” vision, unveiled at CES 2026. Executives outlined the company’s long-term strategy to extend AI beyond smart devices into personalized services and robotics embedded in daily life, the company said. Yoon delivered a keynote on the new products and experiences that could emerge from the convergence of next-generation AI and robotics.
