Samsung confirms August 27 event for the ‘newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family’

Samsung Electronics announced a virtual-only 'Galaxy Event August 2026' on August 27 at 8am ET / 5am PT, where it will introduce the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family, widely expected to be the Galaxy S26 FE. The budget device is anticipated to feature an updated design and AI capabilities, but leaked specs suggest it will be nearly unchanged from the Galaxy S25 FE, with a possible higher price tag.
