Samsung Electronics began mass production of the **PM1763**, a **PCIe 6.0** enterprise SSD, according to a Samsung Newsroom release and Business Wire distribution. Samsung states the drive uses **9th-generation V-NAND** and a newly developed **4nm controller**, and is offered in **4TB**, **8TB**, and **16TB** capacities. Samsung's press release reports the **16TB** configuration delivers sequential read/write speeds of up to **28,400 MB/s** and **21,900 MB/s**, and can transfer a **40GB** large language model in approximately **1.4 seconds**. The company also highlights optimization for liquid-cooled servers via direct-to-chip cooling and support for post-quantum cryptography, per the Samsung announcement.
