[NeurIPS](https://neurips.cc/), the global Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems, is widely recognised as one of the leading international forums for artificial intelligence and machine learning research. The annual conference brings together researchers, practitioners and industry leaders to present peer-reviewed technical papers, hear invited keynote talks and explore emerging developments across the field.

The success of EurIPS, a NeurIPS-endorsed satellite conference held in Europe, has led to NeurIPS evolving into a multi-site conference for the first time in 2026. This provides a regional platform for showcasing accepted papers while reducing the need for transcontinental travel. The satellite events in Paris and Atlanta broaden access to major AI research and strengthens connections across the wider international NeurIPS ecosystem.

Professor Kaski has been appointed as one of two program chairs for the Paris satellite event, alongside Lorenzo Rosasco from the University of Genova.

The Centre for AI Fundamentals has been very well represented at NeurIPS and EurIPS ever since our foundation, with a large number of accepted papers, posters and workshops and 2026 promises to continue those strong showings.
