Salesforce announces AIforce, unlocking the power of its platform using composable agents Salesforce Inc. announced AIforce at its Dreamforce user conference, an AI interface layer that delivers the company's business logic, semantics, security and governance to users and AI agents wherever they work. The release includes Claudeforce, which extends Salesforce's Anthropic partnership with 37 prebuilt sales skills and a Claude Code plug-in with 40 skills, plus Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker. Chair and Chief Executive Marc Benioff said "AI is creating an interface revolution," combining model intelligence with customer context in a composable system built with Zero Data Retention. Salesforce announces AIforce, unlocking the power of its platform using composable agents Salesforce Inc. unveiled AIforce https://www.salesforce.com/news/stories/aiforce-announcement/ today during its Dreamforce user conference, a new artificial intelligence interface layer that brings the power of the company’s platform to where people use AI agents to work by providing business logic, semantics, security and governance. In most cases, “AI wiring” and Model Context Protocol ecosystems have permitted companies to attach agents to data sources and tap into value that exists in platforms. Salesforce said that with AIforce, users and businesses don’t have to come to Salesforce to get work done; it can come to them and their AI agents. With today’s release, Salesforce is releasing Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker, each bringing the skills, cookbooks, dashboards, triggered workflows, wiring and packaged interfaces users already work with. That means a company can download a plugin or open Salesforce where they work. “AI is creating an interface revolution,” said Chair and Chief Executive Marc Benioff. “We are combining model intelligence with all the context that customers have built into Salesforce to create an intelligent, dynamic, composable system that is securely governed, built with Zero Data Retention and designed to work with the core systems that already run your business.” Claudeforce https://www.salesforce.com/claudeforce/ extends the company’s partnership with Anthropic PBC, bringing 37 prebuilt sales skills that cover everything from prospecting to pipeline hygiene, and will also soon include analytics in Tableau as well as skills for service, marketing, commerce and industries. For builders, a plug-in for Claude Code brings 40 skills, access to Salesforce’s broader skills library on GitHub, and specialized sub-plug-ins that can load dynamically to take on development tasks. Slackforce https://www.salesforce.com/slack/slack-surfaces-transforms-enterprise-data/ lives where users already do most of their communication and work, primarily alongside AI chatbots and agents. Now with Slackforce Surfaces, users can pull relevant context and data from Salesforce, chat and other tools to create live, interactive interfaces for the whole team to explore, comment on and work within. Slackforce powers the company’s Slackbot, which is an out-of-the-box assistant that operates within the collaborative chat interface. The company also announced Slack CRM with Slackforce, a way to connect every Slack conversation, user and update back to Salesforce. This allows users to open new accounts within Salesforce, log notes from recent calls and update records, all without leaving Slack. “We handle over 800,000 customer inquiries a year, so getting our people the right context fast is everything,” said Hotel Engine Inc. founder and CEO. “Slackforce makes that possible.” Agentforce Coworker https://www.salesforce.com/agentforce/coworker/ acts as an AI teammate that exists within Salesforce on every device. It acts within business rules, permissions, security and governance. Coworker operates by calling specialized Agentforce agents already built and deployed by the business, so it can be customized to the user’s needs and grow and change with customer work. It is also instantly available with the push of a button and scales as easily as opening up a prompt and adding a new agent. Built on top of an open ecosystem In March, Salesforce introduced Headless 360 https://siliconangle.com/2026/04/15/salesforce-bets-conversation-new-interface-developers/ , an open architecture that exposes every element of the Salesforce platform and powers the Headless Toolkit. This gives builders access to Model Context Protocol, application programming interfaces, plug-ins, skills and developer tools to create bespoke AI experiences on top of the platform. This ecosystem and toolkit gave developers and engineers essential access to Salesforce’s internal wiring, letting them build directly on the platform. AIforce is built on top of the Headless Toolkit, abstracting away the wiring and allowing nontechnical users to spin up their own interfaces. “The way to think about this is Headless 360 is really the raw MCP servers, the raw APIs, the exposure of those things from Salesforce; AIforce is a step above it,” said President of Applications and Marketing Solutions Patrick Stokes. “March was like the raw materials, or the raw ingredients, and AIforce is like the chocolate chip cookie that comes out of the oven.” This also creates the AgentExchange ecosystem, a network of partners using the Headless Toolkit to build interfaces, agents, apps, integrations, workflows and actions on Salesforce within a marketplace to discover, buy and deploy them. Numerous companies have deployed services using the exchange, including Anthropic, Amazon Web Services Inc., Google LLC, Lovable Labs Inc., Vercel Inc., DocuSign Inc. and OpenAI Group PBC.
