# Salesforce and Google Cloud link infrastructure and AI agents > Source: > Published: 2026-09-18 06:51:23+00:00 **Salesforce and Google Cloud are expanding their partnership to align enterprise systems and AI applications. Thanks to the integration, Salesforce infrastructure runs on Google Cloud via Hyperforce.** The partnership was announced during the [Dreamforce 2026](https://itdaily.com/tag/dreamforce-2026/) conference. Both technology companies aim to eliminate data silos within organizations with this move. Today, companies often struggle with fragmented systems in which data and applications remain separate. By linking Salesforce’s so-called ‘headless’ architecture to Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise, AI agents gain access to the same corporate data. This allows autonomous agents to reason and perform actions within trusted workflows without developers having to build complex integrations. ## Hyperforce and Gemini Enterprise A key part of the agreement is the migration of Hyperforce to Google Cloud. Salesforce will begin transferring selected US customers in the fourth quarter of 2026. According to both parties, Hyperforce is already processing live production environments on Google Cloud. This gives companies access to Google’s infrastructure while maintaining existing security and compliance standards. The announcement does not mention whether this migration will also occur for European customers. Simultaneously, Google is integrating Salesforce’s architecture, based on the Model Context Protocol. This allows Gemini Enterprise to directly perform tasks such as analyzing sales pipelines or managing customer inquiries. Customers can also deploy Gemini models within Agentforce to automate tasks across different platforms. Data analysis via Tableau is also directly accessed within the Gemini environment. In terms of data, Salesforce Data 360 and Google BigQuery are further expanding data sharing without duplication to multiple regions. Additionally, both players are embracing open standards such as the Iceberg Rest Catalog to ensure secure interoperability between databases. ## Phased rollout starting this fall The new capabilities will be rolled out in several phases. Hyperforce on Google Cloud will become generally available in North America in November 2026. Further regional expansion to other regions will follow from 2027. Various AI components, such as the Agentforce Reasoning Engine with Gemini, are available immediately. Broader integrations and links will follow throughout this year and early next year.
