Things to consider before buying In terms of pricing, this is on the higher end for an RTX 5080 build, which can go as low as $2,500 in some cases, depending largely on the CPU, from my experience. I’d say that if you want to grab something less expensive that’s still a gaming powerhouse, look for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D model instead. These are only slightly less powerful than the Ryzen 7 9850X3D, and still have the same enormous L3 cache. If you want an RTX 5080 build closer to $2,500, and don’t mind trading off some gaming performance, mainly at lower resolutions, I’d go with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K build. These will be better in some senses for hybrid usage, as this CPU has a much higher core count than your typical Ryzen X3D model.
