The post came after one of the show’s co-creators, Dan Harmon, admitted that aspects of Trump and fellow former President [Barack Obama](/topic/barack-obama) had provided inspiration for his new spin-off cartoon, *President Curtis*, giving *Rick and Mort*y’s fictional commander-in-chief his own spotlight.
