QueerCade: Both Sanity Challenge Paths, One Arcade A developer built QueerCade, a curated arcade of LGBTQ+ video games, using both paths of the Sanity challenge, with a single dataset of 3,500+ documents powering all three experiences. The project includes an AI agent called the Discovery Guide that recommends games, characters, developers, and studios strictly from the Sanity dataset and refuses to invent entries not present in the data. The arcade also features a retro 8-bit storefront, a Queer Character Constellation plotting 870+ LGBTQ+ characters across decades, and an Emoji Game Oracle, all queried from Sanity via GROQ. I built QueerCade — a curated arcade of LGBTQ+ video games — through both paths of the Sanity challenge. One dataset powers all of it. The QueerCade Discovery Guide is an AI agent that recommends games, characters, developers, and studios — answering only from the Sanity dataset 3,500+ documents . It never invents a game; if something isn't in the data, it says so. The arcade itself: a retro 8-bit pixel-art storefront with the Queer Character Constellation 870+ LGBTQ+ characters plotted as stars across decades and the Emoji Game Oracle. Every screen, filter, and graph reads from Sanity via GROQ — no other content database. One content lake, three experiences: a storefront, an MCP-queryable agent, and a celestial graph. Built on Sanity. AI assistance for this project:
