PwC, a Big Four consulting firm, published 'thought leadership' reports that contained AI hallucinations, according to a Financial Times investigation. The reports, which were meant to showcase PwC's expertise on artificial intelligence, included fabricated citations and nonsensical content generated by AI tools.
