Device Help lets you tell Gemini what you want to accomplish on your phone, and the AI will return the relevant settings and even offer to make multiple changes for you in a single tap. Now, we’ve learned that the feature isn’t a Pixel 11 exclusive.\n\nGoogle’s Minhaz A V recently posted a [video of Device Help in action on X](https://x.com/minhazav/status/2094237351446974469). The clip shows Gemini surfacing a set of features to help make the phone “comfortable to use at night,” including dark mode and screen brightness settings. More interestingly, though, the tweet says that Device Help is available on any Pixel phone running Android 17, and that it’s coming to more devices in the future.\n\nGoogle launched a new feature in[@GeminiApp]called “Device Help” which is now available on Pixel devices (Android 17).An Android phone can typically have >300+ settings. You don’t have to be a power user any more to truly customize your phone! All troubleshooting questions…[https://t.co/mTWF1rNzdm][pic.twitter.com/ytYGbL13T3]— Minhaz (@minhazav)[August 31, 2026]\n\nMinhaz didn’t specify which devices would be getting Device Help support in the future, but it seems likely that it’ll be available on phones running Android 17 — still a pretty exclusive club today.\n\nIn our experience with Device Help so far, we’ve seen mixed results. On two different Pixel 11 devices, asking for help with the phones’ Magic Capture camera feature returned two different sets of instructions (*c’est la *AI). Still, as Minhaz points out, Android phones can have hundreds of settings, and an automated process to find the right ones through natural language should be helpful, assuming Google can figure out the bugs.\n\nDevice Help is available now on Pixel phones running Android 17 (that’s Pixel 6 and newer), with more devices to follow in the future.\n\nThank you for being part of our community.
