Propper AI has announced that its Propper Document Cloud Platform is now Claudeforce ready, allowing its five core products, Gen, Fabrik, Sign, Click, and Locker, to operate natively inside Claude's expanding enterprise ecosystem. The company is bringing the integration to Dreamforce in San Francisco this week, where sales and legal teams can see agentic document workflows move directly from the CRM into signature.
Claudeforce is the expanded strategic partnership between Salesforce and Anthropic announced in August 2026, pairing Claude's reasoning with Salesforce's data, workflows, business logic, and governance to power agentic experiences across the enterprise. Both companies have described the collaboration as joining the leading AI model with the leading AI powered CRM, and have signaled plans to keep expanding integrations across Claude, Salesforce, and Slack. Propper's readiness announcement plugs directly into that roadmap, timed to land in front of the enterprise buyers who will be walking the Dreamforce floor this week. For a document infrastructure vendor, that timing is not a minor detail: Dreamforce is where Salesforce's own customer base goes to evaluate what "AI-native" actually means in production, rather than in a slide deck, and a Claudeforce-ready certification gives Propper a concrete demonstration to point to instead of a roadmap promise.
Closing the gap between reasoning and signature #
The practical pitch behind the Propper Document Cloud Platform is straightforward: sales and legal teams working inside Claude can now generate, route, and execute agreements without ever leaving their agentic workflow. That matters because most enterprise AI rollouts stall at the exact point where a recommendation needs to become a binding document. An agent can draft a proposal, summarize a contract, or flag a compliance issue, but if getting that output into a signed, executed agreement still requires switching tools, re-keying data, and waiting on a bolted-on integration, the AI layer never actually closes the loop. That handoff point, where reasoning has to become paperwork, is where a lot of enterprise automation projects quietly stop delivering value, even after the AI portion of the workflow is technically working.
Propper's five integrated products are built to remove those seams. Gen handles automated document generation, Fabrik covers template building, Sign manages e-signature execution, Click runs clickwrap agreements, and Locker provides secure document storage. Rather than retrofitting AI features onto an existing eSignature product, Propper says the platform was engineered from the ground up as AI-native, built by technical leadership that the company describes as having pioneered the eSignature industry in the first place. That combination, deep familiarity with what enterprise document workflows actually require, paired with an architecture designed for agents rather than humans clicking through a portal, is the case Propper is making against legacy providers like DocuSign, Adobe Sign, and PandaDoc. It is also a distinction that matters more as agentic workflows spread: a signature product designed around a human clicking through a web portal has to be adapted, sometimes awkwardly, to be called by an autonomous agent, while a product built around agent-initiated actions from day one does not carry that retrofitting burden.

Why it was built #
Jack Berube, CEO of Propper AI, has been direct about the motivation. "The eSignature offerings available today are broken, overpriced, and not built to scale with AI," he said. "That's why we built Propper. Being Claudeforce ready means our customers can move from an AI agent's recommendation to a fully executed, compliant agreement in the same breath, no bolted-on integrations, no legacy friction."
Grant Peterson, Propper's CSO and former Docusign CTO, framed the same problem from the pricing side, describing the industry's current model as simply broken and saying Propper was created to fix it. Coming from someone who helped build one of the incumbents, that critique carries a particular weight: it is not an outsider's guess at what is wrong with legacy eSignature pricing and architecture, but a claim from someone who had a hand in building it. Berube has also pointed to the underlying gap the company is targeting more broadly: agreements are the last mile of every business transaction, and that last mile has stayed stuck in an older era of software while everything surrounding it modernized. Claudeforce readiness, in his framing, is a signal to the market that document infrastructure needs to be AI-native rather than AI-adjacent, a layer built around agents from the start instead of one that simply bolts a chatbot onto an existing signature flow.
What it means heading into Dreamforce #
The timing is not incidental. Certifying document infrastructure ahead of a major Salesforce event puts Propper in front of exactly the enterprise sales and legal buyers who are already evaluating how Claude and Salesforce work together in production. Dreamforce attendees will be able to see live demonstrations of Claudeforce-integrated workflows, including agent-initiated document generation, in-line signature routing, and governed agreement execution, all without leaving the Claude experience. For buyers who are still deciding how much of their contracting process to hand over to agentic workflows, seeing generation, routing, and execution happen inside a single session, rather than across several disconnected tools, is a different kind of proof point than a feature list.

Those certifications and integrations matter because they address the two objections that typically slow enterprise AI adoption in legal and sales operations: whether the system meets existing security and compliance obligations, and whether it plugs into the tools those teams already run their business on, rather than asking them to adopt something standalone.
