Why we like the Thermaltake LCGS View 7870T-380
4K gaming
Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti is a solid GPU for fast 1440p and smooth 4K gaming, with its 16GB of VRAM helping at higher resolutions. Although it doesn’t make our best graphics card for gaming list, that’s mainly due to uninspired pricing. As part of this discounted gaming PC, that’s less of an issue, and it pairs well with the choice of CPU.

True gaming CPU
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the predecessor to our current best CPU for gaming. But in 2026, it still offers excellent gaming-focused performance. That’s thanks to its 3D V-cache technology, a massive L3 cache enables instant data retrieval, reducing RAM use and speeding performance. And with 32GB of DDR5 6400 RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD memory and storage are well covered.
Liquid cooling
For a serious gaming system like this, cooling is crucial, especially as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D can run hot. Thermaltake has opted for closed-loop liquid cooling, with a 240 mm Radiator. This should deliver excellent, stable thermal performance, and it looks the part too.

What to consider before you buy
You should only commit to a gaming PC that you’re happy with for the long term. The Thermaltake LCGS View 7870T-380 has the credentials to do well for any gamer, unless you demand the very best performance and rapid 4K gaming. If you want a system with the best GPU for gaming, opt for a system featuring the RTX 5080 – but be prepared to spend more.
Also bear in mind that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a gaming-focused CPU. While it can handle daily use and productivity, it’s pretty much a specialist processor in terms of the premium it adds to any system. If you want a CPU that is more balanced, a PC featuring the newer Ryzen 7 9700X could be a good, more efficient, and well-rounded choice.
