Point Cursor or Claude at a read-only market-data MCP (Waveleta) Waveleta, a Paris-based market-data company, launched a remote MCP server at api.waveleta.com/mcp that lets MCP clients such as Cursor and Claude Desktop pull crypto tickers, ranked market signals, FX, commodities, and US equities history using a prepaid Developer API key. The server is read-only and cannot place, change, or cancel orders; trading is offered separately as an optional add-on that uses trade-only exchange keys and never holds funds. Disclosure: we build Waveleta. This post is about our own remote MCP server. Waveleta Market Data is a remote MCP server at https://api.waveleta.com/mcp . Docs: waveleta.com/developer/mcp https://waveleta.com/developer/mcp . It is data only . With a Developer API key you can pull crypto tickers, ranked market signals, FX, commodities, and US equities history. It cannot place, change, or cancel orders. Create a key at waveleta.com https://waveleta.com/ no card for the free credit . If you already work in Cursor, Claude Desktop, or another MCP client, pointing the client at a remote URL is often faster than wiring a new SDK. Same prepaid key as the REST Developer API. Example tasks the server is meant for: Waveleta also has optional Trading on top of the €39 plan €19 add-on . That path uses trade-only exchange API keys and never holds funds. The MCP endpoint above does not trade. Risk: you can lose money when trading. See waveleta.com/trading https://waveleta.com/trading . Based in Paris; used worldwide.
