Disclosure: we build Waveleta. This post is about our own remote MCP server.

Waveleta Market Data is a **remote MCP server** at `https://api.waveleta.com/mcp`. Docs: [waveleta.com/developer/mcp](https://waveleta.com/developer/mcp).

It is **data only**. With a Developer API key you can pull crypto tickers, ranked market signals, FX, commodities, and US equities history. It **cannot** place, change, or cancel orders.

Create a key at [waveleta.com](https://waveleta.com/) (no card for the free credit).

If you already work in Cursor, Claude Desktop, or another MCP client, pointing the client at a remote URL is often faster than wiring a new SDK. Same prepaid key as the REST Developer API.

Example tasks the server is meant for:

Waveleta also has optional Trading on top of the €39 plan (€19 add-on). That path uses **trade-only** exchange API keys and never holds funds. The MCP endpoint above does **not** trade. Risk: you can lose money when trading. See [waveleta.com/trading](https://waveleta.com/trading).
