Bookkeeping is one of those tasks that seems small until a month's worth of receipts piles up.

**Pocket Ledger** is a local-first receipt parser that turns messy receipt text into a structured, reviewable CSV. It's designed for freelancers, consultants, designers, and developers who want to spend less time manually entering expenses and more time doing the work they actually enjoy.

Users can paste receipt text or upload text files. Pocket Ledger extracts:

The idea is simple: automate the repetitive parts, surface uncertainty, and let the user make the final call.

Rather than pretending every receipt can be parsed perfectly, Pocket Ledger makes uncertain records visible so they can be reviewed before export.

You can run Pocket Ledger locally:

```
bash
git clone https://github.com/Tswetabh/Husltr.git
cd Husltr
pip install -r requirements.txt
streamlit run app.py
```
