Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged robust water data governance through artificial intelligence, calling for systematic collection, analysis and utilisation of water-sector data in a uniform format to tackle scarcity and improve planning. Addressing the valedictory session of the two-day National Departmental Summit on Water, organised by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Modi said the gathering marked the first in a series of departmental summits aimed at strengthening cooperative federalism and collective ownership of national priorities.
