The team currently includes over 25 researchers with backgrounds at institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.

Data centers first, Alpha Centauri later #

PSI has signed on as the founding technical partner for what would be the first privately funded endeavor to design an interstellar probe targeting Alpha Centauri, our nearest neighboring star system at roughly 4.37 light-years away. The mission is budgeted at less than $15 million and is expected to begin by the end of 2029.
