Phone Harness launched an open-source tool that lets AI agents tap, type and scroll through apps on iPhones and Androids using the phone's interface, with no jailbreak, API or app install required, reading the screen via vision OCR or the accessibility tree. The company also opened a Phone Harness Cloud beta offering hosted iPhones and Androids or a user's own device, with new accounts starting at $5 of credit for Android emulators at 5¢ per minute and real iPhones sold as a flat subscription. Pricing runs from a $0/month Basic pay-as-you-go tier and a $20/month Plus tier with 1,000 included phone-minutes (4¢ per minute after) to Cloud iPhone at $64/month billed annually ($80 monthly, or $80/$100 with eSIM) and a Scale tier of dedicated real phones.
