Persona

Persona Identities Inc., the identity-verification vendor that runs face and ID checks for Reddit, Roblox, ChatGPT, LinkedIn and Claude, has been sued under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act by DoorDash drivers and a short-term rental guest who say it stored scans of their faces, according to a 2024 appellate ruling in Washington v. Persona Identities Inc. and a June 28, 2024 complaint in Freifeld v. Sonder Holdings Inc. filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
