App Store upgrades use a dedicated tool
If you bought Permute on the App Store, upgrading to Permute 4 requires a separate upgrade tool. Apple does not allow discount coupons on the App Store, so the upgraded version will not be distributed there. The tool verifies your Permute 3 App Store installation automatically. Permute 4 is not just a visual refresh — it rethinks how files move through the app, how edits are made, and how much control you have over the final result.
