People Can't Identify AI Poetry, but Enjoy It Less When Told It's by an AI

A new study published in Digital Scholarship in the Humanities found that people cannot reliably distinguish AI-generated poetry from human-written poetry, but they rate poems lower when told they were written by an AI.
