Payout to Bartz class members likely delayed as someone filed a notice of appeal

**Someone just filed a notice of appeal in Bartz v. Anthropic. **

Unless the appeal pertains only to the attorneys’ fees and/or service award, the appeal will delay the payout to class members **pending the resolution of the appeal and any cert petition. **That will likely take several years!

But the effective date won’t occur if an appeal is filed until the resolution of the appeal, including a potential cert petition. That will take years!
