Pathfinder – Android native research agent

Resolve Works released Pathfinder, a native Android research agent for Android 14 or newer that connects directly to user-configured model providers with no intermediary Pathfinder server. The GPL-3.0 app supports API keys or existing subscriptions for Anthropic (Claude Pro/Max), OpenAI (ChatGPT Plus/Pro), GitHub Copilot, Kimi, xAI (Grok/X Premium) and OpenRouter, and ships two tools: web_search via a user-supplied Brave Search API key and web_fetch, which renders pages and returns readable content as markdown. Sessions are stored on device as plain JSONL with branching, cross-session search and export, and the chat runtime is a selective Kotlin port of pi's agent runtime covering streaming, tool calls, reasoning, OAuth, retry, compaction and session persistence, with signed APKs distributed through GitHub Releases.

Privacy No analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry. Traffic goes only to the providers you configure, to Brave when search is set up, and to pages the agent fetches. Credentials are stored encrypted behind the Android Keystore and never leave the device except to authenticate with their provider. Install Requires Android 14 or newer.
