Paradev: One workspace for Claude Code, Codex, and any coding agent

Superset rebranded as Paradev and raised an $11.5M seed round, launching a workspace that runs Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode and other CLI-based coding agents in parallel. Paradev isolates each agent in its own Git worktree and branch, supports scaling to 100+ agents, and can start agents on a schedule or event to open pull requests for review. The product is source-available on GitHub under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2), keeps repos and agent sessions local by default, and does not proxy model calls, letting users run their own API keys and existing agent subscriptions.

Superset is now Paradev. Also, we raised an $11.5M seed One workspace for Claude Code, Codex, and any coding agent.

Start work from anywhere #

Run your agents from your phone.

Trusted by builders from #

Switch agents. Keep your workflow

Use Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or any coding agent for each task. Your workspaces, branches, and review flow stay the same.

Scale to 100+ agents

Launch agents across features, bug fixes, and refactors, all in parallel. Status at a glance shows which agents are working, which are blocked, and which are waiting on you.

Start agents on events or a schedule

Turn chores into agents that run on a schedule or when an event comes in: issue triage, changelog drafts, dependency bumps. They run on their own and open PRs for you to review.

Changes are isolated

Each agent runs in its own isolated Git worktree. No overwriting each other's files. Review and merge work when you're ready.

Run workspaces anywhere

Add any machine as a host. Workspaces keep running when your laptop sleeps, and you can check in from wherever you are.

Drive it from the terminal

Everything is scriptable. Spawn workspaces and agents from the CLI, wire Paradev into CI with the SDK, or let your agent drive it over MCP.

Open in any IDE

Jump into your favorite editor with one click. VS Code, Cursor, Xcode, JetBrains IDEs, or any terminal: open worktrees exactly where you need them.

What builders say about Paradev #

Private by default. #

You're in control.

Your code stays local by default, with explicit control over connected services.

Source Available

Full source available on GitHub under Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2). Inspect, audit, and contribute to the code. No black boxes, no hidden functionality.

Local First

Repos, worktrees, terminal output, and agent sessions stay on your machine. Cloud sync covers account and organization metadata only.

Your Agents, Your Accounts

Use your existing agent subscriptions and API keys. Paradev never proxies model calls or locks your workflow to one provider.

Frequently #

asked questions

How is Paradev different from just running Claude Code in a terminal? #

Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode are the agents; Paradev is where you run many of them at once. Each task gets its own isolated Git worktree, so ten agents can work on ten branches simultaneously while you monitor, review, and merge from one place.

See how Paradev compares to other tools →

I already use an IDE like Cursor, is this for me? #

Paradev is designed to work with your existing tool, we natively support deep-linking to IDEs like Cursor so you can open your workspaces and files in your IDE.

Which AI coding agents are supported? #

Paradev works with any CLI-based coding agent, including Claude Code, OpenCode, OpenAI Codex, and more. Choose a different agent for every task without changing your workspace or review flow.

How does the parallel agent system work? #

Every agent runs in its own Git worktree and branch, keeping working files separate. Changes can still conflict when merged. You watch, review, and merge them all from one window.

Read the guide to parallel coding agents →

Is Paradev free to use? #

Paradev has a free tier. The source code is available on GitHub under Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2), so you can inspect and self-host it subject to the license terms.

Can I use my own API keys? #

Absolutely. Paradev doesn't proxy any API calls. You use your own API keys directly with whatever AI providers you choose. This means you have full control over costs and usage.

Is Paradev open source? #

Paradev is source-available: the code is public on GitHub under Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2), which lets you inspect and self-host it subject to the license terms, but is not OSI-approved open source. Paradev is unrelated to Apache Superset, the business-intelligence tool.

What platforms does Paradev run on? #

The desktop app runs on macOS, with an experimental Linux AppImage; Windows is not yet available. Beyond the desktop app there's a CLI, a TypeScript SDK, and an MCP server, so you can drive Paradev from scripts, terminals, and other agents. An app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store lets you check on agents and review their diffs away from your desk.

Is Paradev just a wrapper around Claude Code? #

No. Your agents stay independent; Paradev is the orchestration layer around them. Each task gets an isolated Git worktree, persistent sessions, diff review, and automations that run on events or a schedule, without tying the workflow to one provider.

Bring your agents together. #

Or ask your coding agent to install the Paradev CLI.
