Orchids Is Joining Figma The Orchids (Bud) team is joining Figma to advance AI-powered software creation. Orchids and Bud services will remain active until July 18, after which projects must be migrated elsewhere. Users can download projects or save to GitHub for redeployment. The Orchids team is joining Figma We’re extremely excited to announce the Bud formerly Orchids team is joining Figma Since day one, we built this company around a vision of how AI could transform and democratize the ability to build software. From personal web apps to enterprise tools, we’ve had a front row seat to an unprecedented explosion of creation across nearly every user type and industry imaginable. The distance between idea and reality has never been smaller. Figma is one of, if not the, defining product company of our time to capitalize on this and we’re incredibly excited to join the team. Regarding how Orchids and Bud move forward, both services will remain active until July 18. This also means all projects hosted and deployed on Orchids and Bud will no longer remain deployed and must be hosted elsewhere after July 18. To best migrate projects and save work, we encourage users to either download their projects to their local device or save to Github. Users can then deploy their projects using their preferred hosting provider. Step by step walkthroughs to do all of this are shown below.
