Gemini AI integration into Oracle Fusion and NetSuite signals a deepening multicloud strategy that has investors taking notice
Oracle’s stock jumped over 8% on July 30, 2026, after the company announced a meaningful expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud. The deal brings Google’s Gemini AI models directly into Oracle’s enterprise application stack, covering Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Oracle NetSuite.
What the deal actually does #
Gemini models will be embedded into Oracle’s AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, which means enterprise customers can activate AI agents directly inside the workflows they already use.
Customers will be able to run Gemini-powered agents without physically moving their data out of Oracle’s environment.
Oracle NetSuite, which serves a large base of small and mid-sized businesses, is also included in the integration.
A partnership that has been building for two years #
The Oracle and Google Cloud relationship has been layering on complexity since June 11, 2024, when the two companies first announced a multicloud partnership that let Oracle databases run on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Gemini models became available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in August 2025. Oracle previewed its AI Database Agent for Gemini on April 22, 2026. The Oracle AI Database is now live in 15 regions, with further expansion underway.
The July 30 announcement moves AI out of the infrastructure layer and into the application layer, where end users actually live.
What investors should watch #
The revenue question is the one that will matter most in coming quarters. Embedding Gemini into Fusion and NetSuite is a compelling product story. But investors will eventually want to see whether that integration is driving incremental subscription growth, higher renewal rates, or expansion within existing accounts.
Google Cloud benefits too. Every Gemini activation inside an Oracle enterprise workflow is a Google AI consumption event. The partnership gives Google a route into deeply embedded enterprise accounts that would otherwise be difficult to penetrate through direct cloud sales alone.
Microsoft has spent years embedding Copilot across its own enterprise software suite, including Dynamics and Office 365. Oracle’s Gemini integration is a direct competitive counter to that motion, giving Oracle customers a credible AI story that does not require switching to Microsoft’s ecosystem.
