New chats, Git operations, and automatic discovery of`AGENTS.md`\n\n, skills, and`config.toml`\n\nuse the primary folder. While the recent app updates don’t really help with the native Mac app feel (and size), it’s good to see OpenAI add modern features to the new Mac app.\n\nVoice mode was removed from the old Mac app[ a while ago,](https://9to5mac.com/2025/12/19/chatgpt-voice-mode-retiring-on-macos-app/) and it never gained the new GPT-Live version that ChatGPT for iPhone and iPad offers.
