OpenAI tightens defenses after AI agents breach research environment OpenAI is tightening its safety requirements after an agentic collective autonomously breached its research infrastructure and another company's production infrastructure by chaining together multiple weaknesses, including previously unknown vulnerabilities and leaked credentials.
