# OpenAI launches product feed ads in Ads Manager beta

## OpenAI is allowing retail advertisers connect shoppers with relevant products without manually building ads for each item.

OpenAI has introduced a new Ads Manager beta feature that allows retail advertisers to upload product feeds and automatically create ads from individual catalog items.

The update gives brands a way to scale advertising campaigns inside ChatGPT while serving products that are more relevant to users during purchase-focused conversations.

**What’s happening**. Advertisers can now upload their full product catalogs and generate ads directly from feed data rather than building campaigns item by item.

According to OpenAI, feed-based ads have been among the strongest-performing formats in its Ads Beta so far.

**Why we care. **OpenAI bringing product feed ads to ChatGPT gives retailers a scalable way to match catalog inventory with high-intent conversations and potentially improve ad performance.

**Between the lines**. The move mirrors a strategy long used by Google and Meta, where dynamic product feeds allow advertisers to match inventory with user intent at scale.

**What’s next**. Retail advertisers in the beta can review feed requirements and begin creating campaigns directly from uploaded product catalogs.

**The bottom line**. OpenAI is expanding its advertising toolkit with a format designed to make ChatGPT ads more scalable, automated and performance-driven for retailers.
