One Week, 20 AI Agents: What the Whole Team Actually Did A developer running roughly 20 single-purpose AI agents published a weekly standup detailing what each shipped, including five new puzzle books and journals, six promo videos, and a queue to repost 69 deleted YouTube and 68 TikTok videos with zero views. The bonus-scout agents logged 210 hourly money scans and 80 referral-bonus scans, but the developer reported no payouts and $0 in earnings from six Mercor applications. An Odoo agent that reads scanned timesheets and receipts now cross-checks arithmetic and flags uncertain items with cropped images, while writes back into Odoo remain disabled pending human approval. I run about 20 AI agents, one per job. Most posts here zoom in on one of them. This one is the weekly standup: what each agent shipped over roughly the last week or two, with real numbers where there are any. Kraken scanner and options scanner Covered in the last post: 67 crypto markets and a 30-day backtest on one side, and 330 cheap options contracts on the other. Read it here https://blakelapierre.substack.com/p/two-ai-trading-scanners-one-said . Land purchase The full story is in post 5 https://blakelapierre.substack.com/p/i-asked-an-ai-agent-to-design-a-house : a 1.25-acre lot in the Mojave Desert, a 3D model, and three budgets in one night. No update: the ask is $4k, I emailed about a possible $3k offer, and nothing is agreed. Books The books agent added 5 new puzzle books and journals to its log between Oct 12 and Oct 16: - Porch Swing Crosswords : 80 puzzles, 196 pages, paperback - Bridges of Frostwood : 180 Hashi puzzles, 188 pages, paperback - Stories We Keep : a family memory journal, 102 pages, hardcover - Fences of Frostwood : 100 Slitherlink puzzles, 88 pages, hardcover, $17.99 - Three Clues by Candlelight : 150 riddles, a Kindle ebook It also rendered 6 short promo videos , and the agent checked them frame by frame before anything went up. On the Tidewhistle cozy-mystery shorts, it was honest about what wasn’t working. I approved deleting 69 YouTube and 68 TikTok videos that had 0 views , and the agent built a queue to repost them in colour, one slot at a time. Bonus scouts: referral bonuses, money making, bonus harvesting These are the agents from post 4 https://blakelapierre.substack.com/p/i-gave-an-ai-agent-one-job-find-free . They keep running: - The hourly money scout logged 210 scans since Oct 7 . Most say “QUIET,” which is the point. - The referral-bonus scanner logged 80 scans since Oct 10, diffing Doctor of Credit and its tracked offers each time. - On the AI-gig side, I have 6 applications submitted on Mercor as of Oct 16. Earnings so far: $0. That’s the real number. No bank or referral bonus has paid out yet. Zero dollars so far. That’s the real number. Sole proprietor Odoo bot This agent reads scanned paper timesheets, production reports and receipts posted to an Odoo chat channel. It classifies each page and pulls out the fields. Then it cross-checks the arithmetic do the daily hours add up to the weekly total? and flags anything it isn’t sure of as a numbered issue with a cropped image. On Oct 20 it wrote a full handoff document for the software. Writes back into Odoo are still disabled on purpose: it proposes, and a human approves. Web radio and streaming audio - Web radio: a static site that plays a curated YouTube playlist, with ratings and artist notes, live at hardcoreradio.website. - Streaming audio: a 24/7 generative music stream in 17 styles, all synthesized live in code no samples , where chat votes on the next style. Both are still up and running 24/7. The newsletter agent the one writing this This one gets the longest section, because it’s the one I watch most closely. The Notes queue. It keeps a file of short Substack Notes, each tied to a post, and a routine posts the next one every weekday around 9 AM PT. Notes 9 and 10 went out this week. Note 10 was the turnkey-vs-DIY earthship numbers. The linking rule. Every post opens and closes with an italic “Previously:” link to the one before it. When a new post goes live, the agent goes back and adds a “New:” link to the top and bottom of the previous post. Old posts keep sending readers forward. Promo drafts for every post. Each post gets an X thread, Reddit drafts and now a LinkedIn post, all saved in the repo. Reddit said no. The r/OffGrid mods removed my post 5 promo. The agent marked it “don’t repost there” and wrote new drafts for r/earthship it found the singular one is the active sub, about 22k members, and r/earthships is dead , r/homestead and r/AI Agents. Each draft leads with the actual content, puts the link at the end or in the first comment, and comes with notes on that sub’s self-promo rules. X said no too. X is limiting my login, so the X threads for posts 4 and 5 are written and waiting. LinkedIn said yes. I have a better network there than anywhere else. The agent posted an intro, with the links in the first comment instead of the post LinkedIn tends to bury posts with links , and set up a routine that posts one short write-up every Tuesday around 9 AM PT, starting Oct 27. The image bug. The first draft of post 5 had no pictures, even though the agent reported it done. Substack’s editor quietly drops images that point to a local address. The fix was to upload each image in the editor and then reload the draft to check they were still there. That check is now part of the process. It also blanked out the road name and parcel number in the site plan before uploading. And the real number for all this promotion: six subscribers, last I checked. That’s what this agent is working to change. Quiet this period The other agents tax code, small business capital, crypto, trade bot status, consulting, and a few general helpers either did nothing new worth reporting or did private work that I’m not sharing. What I learned - One agent per job keeps the reports clean. Each one has its own files and logs, so a roundup like this is mostly reading what they wrote down. - “Done” needs a check. The image bug only got caught because I looked. - Distribution is a job of its own. Writing the post is half the work. Getting it in front of people, one platform’s rules at a time, is the other half. — Blake Previously: Two AI Trading Scanners: One Said My Strategy Loses.
