Omarchy 4 Quattro: Linux Built Around AI Agents

Omarchy 4 (Quattro), an Arch-based Linux distribution created by David Heinemeier Hansson (DHH), shipped August 14 as the first Linux desktop built around AI coding agents, treating them as operating system citizens. The OS includes a status bar tracking Claude Code weekly burn rate, a Rust-based multiplexer called Herdr that monitors agent states (idle, working, blocked, done), and offers to route core dumps to agents on segfaults.
