Ollama, the open-source tool for running large language models locally, has released a new version that adds a 'launch' command to connect with AI agents and applications such as Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, and OpenClaw, and introduces support for the Gemma 4 model. The update includes a REST API, Python and JavaScript libraries, and Docker images, enabling developers to integrate open models into their workflows.
