Nvidia to invest $100bn for OpenAI data centre in Ohio

Nvidia Corp. will invest $100 billion to build a data centre in Ohio for OpenAI, according to a Financial Times report, marking one of the largest AI infrastructure investments to date. The chipmaker also invested $1.5 billion into SB Energy, a renewable energy company founded as part of SoftBank Group Corp., to power the facility.
