Pacifico describes GW Ranch as an off-grid project intended for hyperscale data centers. Its current project page says first power is targeted for the first quarter of 2027, with 1 gigawatt online in 2028 and more than 5 gigawatts planned by 2031. [4]
A March letter from the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee said the permit authorizes 33 million tons of greenhouse-gas emissions annually and 12,000 tons per year of other air pollutants. Those are permitted limits, not measured operating emissions. [6]
