NVIDIA CEO to meet with Sen. Cruz on AI

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to meet with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) this week to discuss AI policy, including open-source AI model access and chip supply chain investments. An NVIDIA spokesperson told Nextgov/FCW in a statement on Tuesday that Huang will be discussing NVIDIA’s work “to strengthen the country’s chip supply chain by producing $500B in American technology over four years and American leadership in AI, including leading in open source.” NVIDIA declined to comment on the length of Huang's time in D.C. and other meeting details.
