# Nubia sets Sept. 16 launch for Doubao-powered NaviX Ultra

Nubia will launch its NaviX Ultra smartphone on Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. Beijing time. Jointly developed by ZTE and ByteDance, the handset will feature the Doubao mobile assistant and is being positioned as an AI agent phone.

Nubia and ChangXin Memory Technologies have confirmed that the device will use the Chinese supplier’s LPDDR5X memory operating at 10,667Mbps. ChangXin described it as the first mass-production application of domestically produced LPDDR5X chips at that speed. Qualcomm, BOE, Samsung Semiconductor and Goodix are also among the announced partners.
