As of October 28, the November dates are set. We are 16 days from the November 13 availability of Apple HomeView, 27 days from the November 24 effective date of the updated Wells Fargo Online Access Agreement, and 30 days from the start of Black Friday. Both primary documents were pulled again on Wednesday, and neither has shifted – the countdown to [agentic commerce](https://forkast.news/glossary/agentic-commerce/)‘s first agent-present holiday peak now runs on confirmed dates rather than projections.

Apple’s [HomeView](https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2026/10/meet-apple-homeview-a-new-way-to-enjoy-entertainment-and-manage-the-home/), priced at $299 in the U.S., arrives on November 13 after pre-orders opened October 13. The device remains unavailable in the EU, a limitation tied to the absence of Siri AI in iOS in that region. The hardware is landing on schedule; the exclusions around it are part of the map.

The sharper shift lands November 24, when the new [Wells Fargo Online Access Agreement](https://www.wellsfargo.com/online-banking/online-access-agreement/upcoming/) takes effect. Section 15, titled “Third-Party Artificial Intelligence Agents or Agentic AI,” codifies the transfer. Under Section 15(d), any instruction or transaction an agent executes is deemed authorized by the customer without further verification. Section 15(e) is plainer: “Your use of any AI Agent is AT YOUR OWN RISK.” The bank states it does not monitor, screen, or review agent activities, and Section 15(g) reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate agent access at any time.

That leaves a three-day window between the effective date and Black Friday. The [peak shopping weekend](https://forkast.news/the-holiday-fraud-test-is-weeks-away-and-the-agent-stack-isnt-ready/) runs from Thanksgiving on November 26 through Cyber Monday on November 30, so the first peak-volume agent transactions of the season at Wells Fargo will run under Section 15 from the start. It follows the October wave of [bank blocks](https://forkast.news/the-access-tax-amazon-imposed-on-shopping-agents-just-arrived-at-your-bank/) and the [November deadline](https://forkast.news/the-november-deadline-holiday-peak-vs-liability-shift/) we mapped when the distance was still measured in weeks.

While the calendar moved, the readiness numbers did not. Our [merchant-readiness analysis](https://forkast.news/67-of-retailers-say-they-plan-to-open-catalogs-to-ai-agents-fewer-than-a-handful-have-actually-done-it/) from October 24 put 11% of small and mid-sized merchants and 19% of large merchants agent-ready, with 15% holding the structured product data agents need and 23% able to tell AI traffic from human traffic. Forter’s vendor-reported figures – agentic orders up more than fourfold since August, automated fraud doubled across the same two months – stand as filed, with no published dollar baselines.

The consumer side has not moved either: [58% research with AI](https://forkast.news/58-research-with-ai-17-trust-it-to-finish/), 17% are comfortable letting it finish the purchase, and 76% want a human review step before money moves. None of this re-argues the convergence we mapped on October 21 or the readiness gap we reported on October 24; it records that, with the calendar this close, neither has moved.

The read changes if one of three things moves: the November 24 effective date slips, the Section 15 terms are walked back, or a verifiable readiness figure jumps. Until one of them does, the countdown runs on dates confirmed again at their sources – and the liability for the peak sits with the customer, three days after the contract takes effect.
