Graton Resort & Casino is poised to become Sonoma County’s largest private employer as it looks to hire hundreds more to staff a $1 billion expansion which now offers a new large restaurant and several small eateries.
The tribe and casino, as part of its 144,000 square foot expansion of the resort, is hiring at least 300 more people to staff the Vegas-meets-Wine Country AYA restaurant, the Playbook Sports Bar and an artisanal doughnut-dessert shop SoCo Dough Co. New employees also may be hired to staff other parts of the new smoke-free wing as the resort adds 221 hotel rooms, a new swimming pool and a 3,500-seat theater.

It says it offers competitive medical, dental and vision plans to its employees and listed other benefits such as up to $1,000 annually for tuition reimbursement, up to $1,000 for quarterly guest service bonuses, legal and financial assistance for citizenship applications and annual pay increases for tipped and non-tipped positions.
The resort and casino has become a major part of Rohnert Park’s economy as well as the surrounding area. The city’s staff told The Press Democrat in May that growth at Graton presents a boon for the city through economic opportunity at other commercial properties, including local hotels, and local spending at shops and restaurants.
The casino will conduct interviews between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24, July 9 and July 21 at Tony’s of North Beach restaurant, 288 Golf Course Dr. West, Rohnert Park.
Graton Resort & Casino is located at 288 Gold Course Drive West in Rohnert Park.
