NordVPN’s New HangUp App Screens Calls and Texts for Scams

NordVPN launched a free Android app called HangUp that screens incoming calls and texts for scams using Hiya's call protection technology. The app, available in the Google Play Store, warns users about potential scam, spam, or telemarketing calls before they answer and can scan text messages for malicious content. Nearly 80% of Americans received at least one scam call in the past year, according to a NordVPN survey.
