This excellent Stormcraft Phantom gaming PC is going for $300 off at Newegg, and it’s well worth checking out if you’re on the hunt for something ready-to-go out of the box that’s going to pack a serious punch for 4K gaming for a competitive price. 
For $2,799.99, you’re getting a lot here, so let me quickly run you through what makes this PC stand out from the crowd. First up, it features an RTX 5080 graphics card, which packs 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and exclusive features like MFG. As you no doubt know, it’s a powerhouse for 4K gaming with ray tracing and is exceptionally adept at handling demanding creative workflows, too. That being said, this PC is designed more with the former in mind, as it packs an impressive Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, which is pretty much the best gaming CPU for most people. While it doesn’t pack a huge core and thread count, it does go all-in with its L3 cache, which comes in at a massive 96MB. Combined with its high 5.3GHz boost clock speed, you’re essentially getting a CPU that’s ideal for high-fps gaming and can deliver outstanding performance with low latency. Not only that, but it’s AM5, which gives you more wiggle room for future upgrades.

While RTX 5080 and Intel combos are largely more affordable and better for hybrid usage, pairing this graphics card with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best way to go if you’re looking to primarily max out gaming performance. 
It doesn’t skimp on RAM and storage
For an RTX 5080 build, 32GB is the way to go, as it’ll make for better handling of asset-heavy games, like open-world titles and simulators, allowing for a much smoother gaming experience. Its 2TB of storage is also great, and much needed nowadays with games hitting 100GB more often.

Robust cooling solution

Is this deal good value for money?
I’d say so, yes, for several reasons. It’s about as affordable as you can get for an RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming PC with 32GB of DDR5 and a 2TB SSD, but still features a higher-end PC case, excellent cooling, and a decent PSU. It’s a good option to consider if you’re looking to stay as far away from the $3000 mark as you can, but still grab something with an X3D processor. I’d personally consider looking at Skytech, iBuyPower, and CyberpowerPC builds, too, as these are similarly priced, but each brings something a little different to the table.
