And it’s QHD and 27 inches, which is the ideal resolution-to-size ratio for excellent picture clarity, without the expense of 4K, or a 4K-ready gaming PC.

This monitor can easily double up as a creative display for video editors, photographers, and more, as it boasts a wide color range that’s also incredibly accurate, too.

Burn-in is always a potential issue with OLEDs, simply due to their unique, self-illuminating pixels, but the good news is that this monitor is stuffed with anti-burn-in solutions to detect and prevent this from happening. A notable feature is its Neo Proximity Sensor, which can detect when you’re away from the monitor and automatically switch on a screen saver.
0.03ms response time for low motion blur
If you’re playing competitively, this is crucial, as it’ll help you keep track of what’s happening on screen, even at very high framerates.
Is now a good time to buy?
In a word, yes, as I would be very surprised if this monitor dropped further, even in the FantasTech sales or at Amazon with Prime Day. I’ve only really seen one other similar monitor drop this low, which was MSI’s 240Hz, QD-OLED, QHD display, which is also worth checking out if you’re still shortlisting. The other thing to note is that this ASUS monitor has FantasTech Price Protection, so if it drops lower in the sale, you can get refunded the difference. Win, win!
