Users of the Legora legal AI platform can now access tax research from Blue J Legal via an integration the companies launched today. Legora customers with a subscription to Blue J can now query Blue J’s platform from within Legora and receive answers with inline citations linking back to sources in Blue J.
The companies say that their shared customers had asked for this integration so they could access Blue J in the same place they already do much of their other legal work.
Blue J is built specifically for tax research and is used by more than 6,000 organizations globally**.**
The integration is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect Blue J’s tax research to the Legora aOS. Blue J performs the research on its own infrastructure.
Users need subscriptions to both products and must sign in with their own accounts.
“Bringing Blue J into Legora means tax professionals can get cited analysis where they already work, check the source materials themselves, and keep their judgment at the center of their advice,” Benjamin Alarie, CEO and cofounder of Blue J, said in an announcement of the integration.
