New Kid on the Block

Praex launched its own AI models, Velox II, Faber II and Lucia II, served on its own infrastructure rather than through a third-party API, with Velox II free to start and no sign-up required. Praex Pro costs $20 a month and adds Faber II, the larger model that wakes on demand, plus five times the daily allowance; Lucia II, described as the full-scale frontier model, is not yet open. The company said the models are tuned and served by Praex, and users can also bring their own keys or hardware.
