# New Horizon Europe Project: ARCADIA > Source: > Published: 2026-07-27 13:04:30+00:00 # New Horizon Europe Project: ARCADIA ARCADIA is a 24-month Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action aimed at improving the conversion of publicly funded research into societal, economic, and policy impact. Despite strong research performance in Europe, many results remain underutilised due to limited support for structured valorisation. To address this, ARCADIA will develop a modular, AI-powered Toolbox to guide researchers, knowledge valorisation intermediaries, and innovation offices through key stages of the valorisation process. The Toolbox will support opportunity identification, strategic planning, IP-related decision-making, and stakeholder engagement, adapting to different domains and maturity levels. The project emphasises inclusion, accessibility, and real-world validation, involving over 300 users and at least 100 practical use cases across sectors. ARCADIA will contribute to reducing inactive patents, fostering new innovation activities, and promoting trusted, human-centred AI practices aligned with EU policy priorities. PI: Thomas.
