Nearly two-thirds of tested websites fail every bot test

Malicious bot activity rose 124% between July 2025 and June 2026 while human traffic grew 13.2%, and traffic from AI agents and large language model crawlers climbed 82.3% over the same period, according to DataDome's State of Bot & Agent Security Report 2026. DataDome analyzed trillions of requests across more than 75,000 customer sites during the 12-month period, finding bot traffic growing nine times faster than human traffic and nearly two-thirds of tested websites failing every bot test.
