The project submitted four documents covering responsible AI, transparency, human oversight and open-source infrastructure, and completed its first real blockchain anchor for its AHP traceability prototype, confirmed on Base Sepolia. MyZubster stressed the hearing is not government endorsement, funding or a formal partnership, and that blockchain anchors prove data integrity rather than physical verification.", "body_md": "MyZubster has reached an important transition point.\n\nWhat began as an open-source ecosystem connecting community participation, artificial intelligence, blockchain and visual storytelling is now entering a more structured phase: institutional dialogue, documented pilots and independently verifiable technical evidence.\n\nDuring the last few days, we:\n\nHere is the complete update.\n\nMyZubster received an official communication from the Technical Secretariat of the Committee of AI Experts through the Italian Digital Agency domain, `agid.gov.it`.\n\nThe invitation was communicated on behalf of Professor Gianluigi Greco, Coordinator of the Committee established within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to support the update of Italy’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2026–2028.\n\nMyZubster was invited to participate in an online institutional hearing scheduled for September 22, 2026.\n\nThe purpose of the hearing is to collect qualified contributions, experiences and proposals that may support the Committee’s work.\n\nWe accepted the invitation and confirmed our participation.\n\nThis is an opportunity to contribute to an institutional discussion. It must not be interpreted as government endorsement, funding, certification or a formal partnership.\n\nTo prepare for the hearing, MyZubster submitted four documents:\n\nA concise presentation of the ecosystem, its principles, technical components and current maturity.\n\nA structured overview of possible applications involving responsible AI, environmental data, circular economy, accessibility and public-interest services.\n\nRecommendations covering transparency, human oversight, open-source infrastructure, privacy, interoperability and verifiable public workflows.\n\nThe official form requested by the Technical Secretariat, completed with MyZubster’s contribution.\n\nThe documents were sent directly to the Secretariat and stored in the project’s controlled documentation archive.\n\nMembers of the broader LIFE, academic and research network were also informed about the invitation.\n\nOur contribution will focus on a simple principle:\n\nAI systems used in public-interest contexts should make it possible to distinguish what was generated, what was measured, what was verified and what remains uncertain.\n\nThe main topics include:\n\nThe objective is not to present AI as an autonomous authority.\n\nAI should help people understand information, coordinate work and detect inconsistencies while leaving consequential decisions to authorized human participants.\n\nMyZubster also completed its first real blockchain anchor for the AHP traceability prototype.\n\nThe transaction was confirmed on Base Sepolia:\n\n```\nNetwork: Base Sepolia\nChain ID: 84532\nTransaction:\n0x6dcf39faac6d1eabbaf0e6857ae329d41a1de74cf8320f8f9f048a2dca7ce649\nStatus: CONFIRMED\nSimulated: false\n```\n\nThe implemented workflow can:\n\nThis is a real technical result, but its meaning must remain precise.\n\nA blockchain transaction can demonstrate that a specific digest existed by a certain point in time. It cannot independently demonstrate that a collection, transport, treatment or recycling operation occurred correctly.\n\nPhysical claims still require:\n\nBlockchain supports integrity. It does not replace verification.\n\nThe traceability architecture is being explored as a possible foundation for pilots involving absorbent hygiene products and controlled healthcare-waste streams.\n\nA future event chain may include:\n\n`DESIGN_VERSION_PUBLISHED`;` LOT_CREATED`;` LOT_SUPPLIED`;` COLLECTION_RECORDED`;` TRANSPORT_TRANSFERRED`;` TREATMENT_ACCEPTED`;` TREATMENT_COMPLETED`;` FRACTION_RECOVERED`;` DESTINATION_CONFIRMED`;` CORRECTION_ISSUED`;` ANCHOR_PUBLISHED`.\nEvery event should contain a pseudonymous actor identifier, timestamp, measurement method, evidence hash and digital signature.\n\nErrors should not be silently overwritten. A correction must be represented by a new event referencing the previous record.\n\nThe model remains a pilot proposal. MyZubster does not currently claim to operate, certify or independently validate healthcare-waste recycling.\n\nPersonal and health data must never be placed on a public blockchain.\n\nThis includes:\n\nSensitive evidence remains off-chain under controlled access and retention rules.\n\nThe blockchain receives only minimal, non-personal integrity proofs, such as a Merkle root.\n\nA QR or NFC identifier may connect a controlled container or batch to a verification page, but it must use a random token that does not reveal a person’s identity or health condition.\n\nWe configured Google OAuth for MyZubster and successfully activated consent-based Gmail synchronization.\n\nThe integration uses the read-only Gmail permission:\n\n```\nhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly\n```\n\nAutomatic synchronization requires:\n\nMailbox access and platform authentication should remain separate.\n\nA person must be able to use MyZubster without connecting Gmail. Gmail access should be requested only when a feature genuinely requires it.\n\nThe integration must not publish private messages or use them as public evidence without specific authorization.\n\nGitHub OAuth was configured for identity onboarding with limited scopes:\n\n```\nread:user\nuser:email\n```\n\nThe flow allows MyZubster to:\n\nNo repository-write permission is requested.\n\nThis creates a foundation for connecting verified GitHub identities to MyZubster profiles and metaverse characters while keeping technical identity separate from fictional narrative identity.\n\nVisual storytelling remains an important part of the project.\n\nNew visual chapters now cover:\n\nRelevant GitHub repositories were updated, including:\n\n`space-station`;` I-ECO-01`;` urban-lab-nurse`;\nThe README files now connect the images to their technical context.\n\nEach visual is classified carefully:\n\nAn illustration can explain an architecture. It cannot prove implementation, certification, partnership or environmental impact.\n\nOne of the newest visual chapters is titled “From the Stars to Earth.”\n\nThe Space Station represents MyZubster’s wider narrative environment: distributed intelligence, simulation, artificial entities and long-term systems thinking.\n\nBut the story ultimately returns to real communities and territories.\n\nTechnology matters only when it helps people:\n\nThe fictional environment gives us a language for imagining possibilities. GitHub, operational records and independent verification provide the evidence.\n\nThe institutional hearing and submitted documents may support several future directions.\n\nMyZubster can share practical lessons about consent, provenance, human oversight and transparent AI-assisted workflows.\n\nThe documentation can support small demonstrations involving circular water systems, environmental monitoring, absorbent hygiene products and public-interest services.\n\nUniversities and research organizations could help define methodologies, evaluate results and distinguish measured outcomes from estimates.\n\nPublic administrations could evaluate limited, reversible pilots with explicit governance, privacy and procurement boundaries.\n\nInstitutional feedback can help refine the future LIFE proposal, consortium structure, indicators, responsibilities and pilot acceptance criteria.\n\nMyZubster can explore shared event schemas, signatures, evidence hashes and verification interfaces that do not depend on a single blockchain or platform.\n\nDevelopers can contribute tests, adapters, accessibility improvements, documentation, threat models and verification tools.\n\nNone of these opportunities is guaranteed.\n\nThey depend on technical review, qualified participants, governance, funding, legal assessment and formal commitments.\n\nThe next steps are:\n\nMyZubster is experimental.\n\nSome components are implemented. Some have been tested. Some are documented proposals. Others belong to the project’s fictional universe.\n\nOur responsibility is to keep those categories visible.\n\nThe goal is not to use AI, blockchain, sustainability or the metaverse as labels.\n\nThe goal is to build systems where people can inspect the evidence, understand the limitations and participate in improving the result.\n\nMyZubster is moving from narrative and prototypes toward structured, verifiable and independently reviewable pilots.\n\nThe next step is to turn institutional interest into clear questions, measurable experiments and documented collaboration.", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and", "canonical_source": "https://dev.to/danielioni/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and-circular-pilots-2hfj", "published_at": "2026-09-10 12:20:03+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-09-10 12:34:12.419557+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["ai-policy", "ai-ethics", "ai-infrastructure", "ai-startups"], "entities": ["MyZubster", "Gianluigi Greco", "Committee of AI Experts", "Italian Digital Agency", "Base Sepolia", "Italy"], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/myzubsters-next-step-institutional-ai-dialogue-real-blockchain-evidence-and.jsonld"}}
